Kvinder i Ledelse
Ministeriet for Ligestilling leder sammen med Nykredit,
Finansforbundet, SAS og Dansk Industri et EU-projekt om

The website on women and men in decision-making gives an
insight in the diversion of women and men participating
in the decision-making process and taking up leadership
positions in EU. The website contains data and indicators
that cover decision-making in political, public and juridical
and social and economic domains both on European and national

European Database Women in Decision-Making provides information
about women in political decision-making positions in the
European Union, in Member States of the European Economic
Area and in the Candidate Countries. Data are collected

is the belief that all people are of equal value, regardless

In 1993 the Government instructed a Commission to collect
and collate information about progress towards an even representation
of women and men at managerial level in different companies
and industries. The work of the Commission led to the report
Men’s perceptions of women and management, Swedish
Government Official Reports (SOU) 1994:3. After nine years
there was a need to update the picture and investigate current
patterns of change and, perhaps, the will for change, as
regards women in leading positions in the business sector.
